Model Airplanes

Model Airplanes Stealth

Specialty Model Airplanes like the one above are becoming extremely popular. Keep in mind that these planes should not be used until you have mastered one of the basic planes. One of these custom planes will leave an amateur pilot frustrated with their plane sticking out of the ground. The Stealth Bomber is one of the most popular specialty models around. Not only do people like the sleek look, but how it performs in the air as well. The Stealth Bomber is thin and lightweight, allowing it to maneuver quickly around any obstacle that it may come across. Although it appears it would be easily destroyed, these planes are actually constructed very well. With booming sales, the sky is the limit for this remote controlled plane. However, if the Stealth Bomber is not a look that you desire, there are many other options to choose from, like the transformer plane shown below

Model Airplanes Transformer

Even though this is one of the slowest planes around, it does offer something that no other plane can. This Model Airplane can also be driven as an RC car or used as a transformer. If you are looking for a plane that performs well, this is not the answer. However, if you are looking for an RC car that can also fly, than this is a great option. Although this plane does not perform well in the air, many people like the fact that it can also drive down the street at high speeds. A product like this would be great for younger teens who would like to get a feel for flying Model Airplanes. The next plane is great for people who have a wild imagination.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to fly Air Force One? Well, here’s your chance. This plane is about average for speed and handling. This plane would be great for flying with some of your friend’s fighter jets. You can pretend that you are trying to evade enemy bogies in Air Force One. This is a great plane for intermediate pilots who are looking for a plane with a unique look and feel. However, if Air Force One isn’t for you, you might want to consider some old fighter planes.

These World War I Fighter jets are great for flying with friends. The Twin Wing Biplane construction allows for decent handling. Since these are older models, they do not offer very high speed. On top of that, they are very fragile. I would not recommend using these planes for stunts or aerial dog fights, but they are not a bad option for people who would like a plane that has good handling for leisurely flights. Just keep in mind that these planes are easily broken. If you take care of your plane, your plane will take care of you. Moving further along our timeline, we have World War II fighter jets and bombers.

These electric RC airplanes are great for history buffs who know a thing or two about flying RC Model Planes. The plane on the left offers durability and solid handling. However, since it does not have top end speed, so it is not good for dog fights. If you are looking for a fighter jet with good speed and handling, than the plane on the left is the one for you. You can have hours of fun evading or chasing your friend’s fighter jets. Although this is a very good plane, it may not stand a chance against some of the newer fighter jets shown below.

These top of the line RC fighter jets are going to give you the best bang for your buck. Built for extreme maneuvers at ridiculous speeds, these planes will outperform any of the older models with ease. With that in mind, a person should consider mastering some of the older models before moving onto these more advanced RC Model Airplanes. In other words, you should be an expert pilot before taking on one of these challenging planes. If you do purchase a plane similar to one of these, you should make sure that it has a high communication range. If you get a plane with a low range communication system, your plane could end up going through the neighbor’s window when it gets out of range. This next specialty plane is a great option for beginners and children.

This Styrofoam plane allows users to get a feel for flying without having to worry about their plane being destroyed in a crash. The body of this plane can withstand just about any impact. However, since this plane is so lightweight, you are only going to want to fly it when there are low wind speeds. Although this plane may not look like it, it offers fairly decent handling and average speed. This is the type of plane that would make a great present. Now that we have discussed options for the kids, it is time to look at a plane that adults can have fun with.

Model Airplanes Huge

This 10 foot long plane is going to give you one of the best RC aircraft experiences out there. This high powered jet can getting going up to 30 mph; which is impressive considering this plane is made out of metal. Before taking this thing for a spin you should be sure to read through the entire user manual. You may also want to watch some youtube videos or talk to someone who has flown the plane before. However, when you do master the controls on this massive RC Model Airplane, you are never going to want to fly smaller RCs ever again. This unique plane offers an experience that many people never get the chance to enjoy. Although this plane is a little expensive, it is worth every penny. This plane is in my top 5 RC Model Airplanes for 2009. Remember, if you do decide to go with a specialty plane, it is going to take some time to master. Each RC airplane will fly different than the next. So take the time to get familiar with the plane before you decide to try anything fancy.
